Guiding Philosophy: “Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.” – Tony Robbins

Fun Fact: In elementary school, I raised and sold angle fish, fancy tailed guppies and aquatic plants to a local pet store. I used the money to purchase more fish tanks and supplies. My enterprise unfortunately came to an end after our neighbor overfeed the fish while we were away on vacation. Looking back it was great experience.

Guiding Philosophy: Expect the best… plan for the worst… and always prepare to be surprised.

Fun Fact: I love to travel – both near and far – but what might be a surprise is that although one of my primary roles in the office is serving as a “planner”, when it comes to personal travel, I tend to let my loved ones and travel partners take the lead. I like to switch to my “Type B” personality mode and just go along for the ride, but I always try to follow one rule when choosing to take a back seat, if you don’t help in planning, you’re not allowed to complain! Just be thankful and enjoy the scenery!

Guiding Philosophy: “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Fun Fact: I would have never applied to Virginia Tech for college if it were not for my parents. They wanted me to apply to several universities in VA. Once I visited Virginia Tech, I knew I had to go, much to my parent’s dismay as they are UVA graduates. I think they’ve gotten over it… maybe.

Guiding Philosophy: “While it is possible to change without improving, it is impossible to improve without changing.”- Joseph Carroll

Fun Fact: Growing up we lived on a canal and we’d go fishing in the backyard all the time, when I was 5 years old I caught a 6lb large-mouth bass, over 19 inches long, with a bobber and a piece of bagel. My father had it stuffed and hung on our family room wall, very proud Dad moment.
